The Dickie Dee brand revival began as a multi-party collaboration in early 2025, with participants contributing to the redevelopment of the brand and discussing a shared structure for moving the project forward. Throughout the following months, significant work was completed across planning, brand development, product concepts, supplier outreach, and strategic direction, much of which was coordinated and led by Joe Kelsey as part of the collaborative effort.
Prior to and during this period of active development, certain trademark applications were filed under a separate numbered corporation. These filings were not aligned with the collaborative project structure that had been discussed and do not reflect the shared development work, expectations, or contributions made during the revival process.
As a result, the project is now transitioning from an initial review phase into a documentation phase. This stage involves organizing materials that reflect:

The trademark applications remain under examination by the Canadian Intellectual Property Office (CIPO). Once they reach the appropriate procedural stage, further steps will be taken through the proper CIPO channels to address the discrepancy between the current filings and the collaborative development work completed earlier in the year.
During this documentation phase, this website will continue to be updated with factual records, historical materials, and project documentation. All commercial activity connected to the 2025 revival remains paused until these matters are resolved.
